Weekly Roundup: What Is Jason Kidd Cooking?
The Dallas Mavericks capped off a 1-2 week with a loss to the Phoenix Suns. After also losing to the Indiana Pacers this week, the Mavs failed twice against familiar foes. Sandwiched between those losses was a win over the Philadelphia 76ers and even the losses came down to the wire. The Mavs simply have some things to figure out.
In this week's episode, Bibs and Reese focused on the Suns game specifically when breaking down the decisions they believe Jason Kidd is making that may be costing the team games. It is clear that playing defense will remain a struggle as long as the Mavericks remain without a true defensive anchor. But is Kidd truly putting this team in the best position to win every night? The Outsiders don't believe so.
Finally, as we do every week, Bibs and Reese closed out the show with their weekly segments. The Fantasy League is moving into its last week and the $100 Grand Prize is on the line. We are close to having all of the playoff teams decided but there is still some maneuvering to do for seeding.
