A few weeks ago, I sent out information about free and critical COVID19 testing. This week testing will be begin for the South Gate Community of Schools. Please reserve an appointment today. The testing center site has been moved to International Studies Learning Center Middle School campus across the street from the Legacy High School Complex.
Congratulations to all of our students being recognized in our VAPA Honor Roll Assembly this Monday, online at 1 pm.
This week we will continue with our 1:1 in-person Tutoring Program at VAPA. Please call us at 323-357-7531 to reserve a tutoring appointment, on one day from 2:30-3:30, Monday-Friday. All students who participate must obtain a negative COVID19 test result first.
On Thursday, November 5, at 5 pm, we will hold our final articulation event to share information about Legacy VAPA to potential students in the South Gate and Bell Zones of Choice. Please spread the news about our wonderful school to potential VAPA families. The final event will include ak three Legacy schools.
Any students who are interested in participating in our Legacy Athletics program must complete athletics paperwork at www.athleticclearance.com including getting a physical and having the doctor or clinic complete the physical form to be included. While sports are still on hold, we want everyone to be eligible to participate once we are allowed to return to campus. Hard-copies of physical forms must be submitted to the Welcome Center or the VAPA office.
