Hello VAPA Community! This is Dr. Trimis. This Monday will be a late start day with students arriving at 10 am. Hola Comunidad VAPA! Este es el Dr. Trimis. Este lunes será un día de inicio tardío con los estudiantes que llegan a las diez de la mañana.

 As of today we only have 2 weeks of school left before Winter Break and less than 1 week until finals which begin on Friday. This is an excellent time for all students to be studying for finals and getting caught up on any missed work. This is also an important time for all students to meet with their teachers so they have a clear understanding of what they need to do to earn at least a C in every class.

As we come to the end of the semester, it is also important for students to meet school expectations regarding coming to school every day, on-time, and prepared, and always keeping their school ID with them and utilizing our hall pass system if leaving the classroom is necessary.  Please support our Winter Sports teams which include girls and boys basketball and girls and boys soccer.

Please support our students in their performances this week, the Winter Fest Dance program on Friday at 6:30 pm, and see the band in the Huntington Park parade on Saturday at 6 and the South Gate parade on Sunday at 12 noon. The last day of the Fall semester is December 14.
