Hello VAPA Community! This is Dr. Trimis with a few announcements! Monday is a late-start day. Hola Comunidad VAPA! ¡Este es el Dr. Trimis con algunos anuncios! El lunes es un día de comienzo tardío. Families all should have received a letter regarding our Active Shooter Drill this Tuesday. If you have not received the letter, please call us at the office at 323-357-7531 or e-mail me at [email protected]  

This week we will be continuing our Toy Drive with toys going to support children South Gate and in Mexicali, Mexico. You can donate your new, un-wrapped toy anytime at the VAPA office or by bringing your toy to the Winter Fest Dance Show on Friday, December 13. Anyone donating a toy at a Winter Fest Show will be admitted free.

Be sure to join us for Winter Fest Dance this Friday at 6:30 pm and Coffee with the Principal right before the show at 5:30 pm.

 Also be sure to see our marching band and auxiliary unit perform in the Huntington Park Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 14 at 6 pm.

 Finals will be on December 13, 16, 17, and 18. For each of these days, students will be at school from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

 This is a reminder that Dec. 20 is the last day of school before the 3-week Winter Break.
