Hello VAPA Community! This is Dr. Trimis with a few announcements. We will start our new Monday schedule this week with Per. 1 starting at the regular time, 9 am. Every day, the day will start at nine in the morning for all classes but students will be released at Twelve-Forty in the afternoon on Mondays.

The School Experience Survey deadline is Feb. 5. The survey is required for all school communities to participate in and we are evaluated by our completion rate. This year, STUDENTS in grades 4-12 were sent their own personal link to the survey via their MyMail account (MyMail.lausd.net). Each link is unique and must not be shared. Note: Students can only find this link in their MyMail inbox and NOT Schoology.

Parents can access the ONLINE Parent Survey by going to clicking on the appropriate Parent Survey button above and choosing their child’s school from a drop-down menu to begin the survey at https://achieve.lausd.net/schoolexperiencesurvey.

There are a number of enrichment courses for credit still available from Animation to Health to Spanish and more. Classes run from February 1 to June 11. Though the last day to enroll for the new afternoon enrichment courses, there are still some slots available. Classes are Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm (Synchronous) plus 60 minutes per week (Asynchronous). Students who are interested should send a request to Ms. Simmons or Ms. Solis who can enroll them directly.
