Hello VAPA Community! This is Dr. Trimis with a few announcements. We are on a regular schedule every day until final exam week.
Hola Comunidad VAPA! Este es el Dr. Trimis con algunos anuncios. Estamos en un horario regular todos los días hasta la semana del examen final.
This is another busy week at VAPA.
Monday at 3 pm at Legacy our Softball Team has their next CIF Play-off game. We all need to support their success. Please join us at Legacy for the game.
Thursday is our next SpringFest event, VAPA’s Mariachi Fest at 6 pm. We will have several groups performing on our stage at Legacy! Please join us.
On Friday, we have two programs. Our Original Musicals Showcase plus Grandma’s Keeper, a new musical, will be at 1 pm. For the third SpringFest Event, we will present VAPA’s Film Fest presenting original films by VAPA students at 6:30 pm. You don’t want to miss either event!
Lastly, for seniors who are participating, this Saturday is Grad Nite.
We will have a few special planning meetings this week, as well. An optional meeting for teachers and staff at lunch in Rm. D116 on Monday and for students during Period 2 on Tuesday in Rm. D116.
This is a good time for all students to meet with their teachers to be sure they understand course expectations for every class. Our school goals include improving our A-G course pass rate with a C or better leading to an increased graduation rate and more students prepared for college.
We still have several upcoming events in May as we push towards the end of the school year with our Commencement Ceremonies on June 6.
Please go to our website and Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter links at www.vapalegacy.com for more information, calendar of events, and updates.
That’s it for now. I'll see you at school!
