Legacy VAPA Weekly Updates

Hello VAPA Community! This is Dr. Trimis with a few announcements. This is a reminder to all of our students to arrive to school by 8:20 am each day so they can be in class before the late bell rings at 8:30 am. Monday is a REGULAR DAY.

 Hola comunidad VAPA! Este es el Dr. Trimis con algunos anuncios. This is Latino Heritage Month and Suicide Prevention Month.

 This week is college week. We will have activities all week to celebrate during lunch and after school. Tuesday we will have a College and Financial Aid Workshop at 5 pm, Wednesday we will administer the PSAT, Thursday we will have a Personal Statement Workshop and College Fair starting at 5 pm, on Friday we will have our first College Tour, and on Saturday we will have a College Personal Statement and Account Set-Up Workshop beginning at 9 am.

 We are now in the Zone of Choice and Open Enrollment Recruitment season. Congrats to our VAPA Performance Ambassadors performed our recruitment show several times now. There is one more middle school performance this Friday and our Legacy Open House for prospective students on Saturday. If you know of any families of 8th grade students, especially those that live in the South Gate and Bell area, please refer them to us so we can let them know all we have to offer. We will be giving school tours every Wednesday and Friday for the next 2 months.

Looking forward to next week, please join us for our Student-Led Parent Conferences at 5 pm on Thursday, October 18. Please look for more information about this event to be sent home this week.
