Hi Dharma Friends! With this episode, we conclude the section "On the Contemplation Sutra." These have been quite the tongue twisters - thanks for putting up with my reading. You may wish to read or re-read the entire Sutra because it is a great story and the spiritual insights Shinran conveys using it are immense. One good translation is that of Hisao Inagaki and Harold Stewart in The Three Pure Land Sutras, published by the Numata Center for Buddhist Translation & Research in their BDK English Tripitaka Series. There are others out there as well. If you are looking for the earlier episodes in the Weekly Wasan series, the easiest way is to go to ambuddhist.org (the American Buddhist Study Center home page) and find the link. There is lots of other cool material to check out there as well!
Palms together, Gary
