YHVH rained down bread from heaven to test the people to see if they would walk in His Torah. YHVH gave the Shabbat along with the bread from heaven. They were instructed to gather twice as much manna on the 6th day and rest on the 7th day. This was a test to see if they would obey Him and His word.

What is the “work of Elohim”? We must cease from relying on our own self righteousness. Our work is to believe in the one who YHVH sent, His only son, Yeshua. The true bread of heaven is Yeshua who comes down from heaven and gives lift to the world. Yeshua is the bread of life. We are to eat his flesh, (that is, consume and follow His Torah) and drink His blood (that is, consume and follow His Torah.) His words to us, they are spirit and they are life!
