This week we are taking a trip back to the early 1900s in New York City to meet the city's first ever female detective: Isabella Goodwin. Goodwin spent nearly 30 years on the force, mostly working as a matron in the local jails, then as an undercover cop. She was so good at this that over her career it is believed that she helped to solve over 500 cases working undercover. Her most notable was the Taxicab Robberies in 1912. Join us for a look at Goodwin's career and how she helped to solve a case that made national news.
