So I've been out of the game for a few months. I've been writing a book about my experiences as a kid being bullied and it's consumed my attention like crazy. ButI finished and edited in 3 months. Now I will have a few folks take a look at it and let me know what they think. Then next big step is to get it published so I can start selling it and go around talking about my experiences.
Additionally I've gotten back into the brewing world. The folks Steel City Coffee House & Brewery asked me to come on board and take over their brewing operations which I was thrilled to do. They are awesome people and I'm glad to be there for them. Check them out in Phoenixville. Steel City Coffeehouse
Additionally I organized all of the Veteran Owned Breweries across Pennsylvania for a state wide collaboration brew project to salute veterans for this Memorial Day. Thanks To Newfangled Brew Works for hosting our brew day in April. This beer, Hurry Up & Wait, is a tribute to all Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines that answered the call. It will be available at several breweries this weekend starting Thursday. And special thanks to the Breweries in PA guys, Chadd & Matt, for helping get this project organized and off the ground. They have been hugely helpful and in making this happen. check out their website for more info on the project and where to find the beer!
Special thanks for Cory McDonald for being a bit of a motivator for me to get my ass out on the pavement and start running again. You've been a true inspiration. @corymcdsellerbrewer (IG). And for some daily motivation from David Goggins and Gary Vaynerchuk, you both have been an awesome inspiration to keep me going and keep me persevering and never doubting myself.... more specifically you talk me to make excuses for my own failures. #work
Lastly, my main motivation is to tell people to just go for what you want in life. Stop listening to all the "No" answers of the world. Just go do it and make it happen! And yes, you will fail and it's OK. Failure is awesome. If we didn't fail, we would be God.
