Hello, and welcome to another new episode of The Nerd Stash Show!
We're a few weeks into 2021, and it didn't seem like there was a lot of news to talk about... until there was! Early this week, Disney and Lucasfilm decided to announce Lucasfilm Games, a new division of the company focused on games. But that was just the start. Then Lucasfilm Games announced Machine Games (yes, developers of Wolfenstein) are working on a new Indiana Jones game with Todd Howard as an Executive Producer. Finally, the company dropped news bigger than an AT-AT, Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are making an open-world Star Wars game! Yes, a publisher other than EA is working on a game in the Star Wars universe! Let's break down the massive (pun intended) news!
We also talk about CD Projekt continuing to struggle with Cyberpunk 2077's post-release messaging, some updates on a handful of PlayStation 5 titles, and we bring back the Rapid Fire segment for some quick-hit stories including two games getting delayed (one out of 2021 entirely!). You won't want to miss this episode!
