We live in a world that so often separates our bodies and our hearts/minds.
When we hurt in our bodies,
we go to a physical therapy
and leave our emotions
and life experiences out the door.
We do the same the other way,
when we are hurt emotionally,
we so often seat and talk about our experiences and
leave our bodies out of the door.
I'm Dana, I'm a somatic psychotherapist who specializes in work,
and support women who experience chronic pains and symptoms to reconnect their bodies and move freely in their bodies and in their lives.
I'm a chronic symptom thriver myself as well,
and that was my long way here to this passion, curiosity, and profession in the somatic field.
In this space, I hope to normalize our human experiences of pain, discomfort, transformation, growth, and healing.
Through human stories, and practices so you can take them with you to your everyday life.
I believe our bodies speak to us,
they are storytellers.
They hold the memories of what we have forgotten,
they hold what we were afraid to express.
Would always love to receive your experiences of listening -
rate, review, and share.
One nice long, full, nourishing breath,
and let's start.
