Dear Students and Parents or Guardians,
It is with great excitement I welcome you to the Legacy Visual and Performing Arts High School family! We have been working hard to prepare for a wonderful year for you full of fantastic learning opportunities from the classroom to the stage and beyond! We are excited about the many programs we offer that you will learn about from your Link Crew mentors to the 3-day ACE program for all Freshmen, to the Leader in Me program.
I hope to see you at Fall events, our Freshman Orientation event, Back-to-School Night, shows, concerts, recitals, and more! Please be aware that given the current health crisis we are all facing, our calendar and events schedule is fluid, but will be getting more information throughout the summer.
Please go to www.bit.ly/vapa2024 for updated information and a class request form. Please complete the form as soon as possible as our goal is to have all students scheduled into classes before the beginning of August. We will also post updates on the Class of 2024 web page.
LAUSD is running a virtual Summer School Program running from June 24 to July 28. Please go to https://btb.lausd.net/summerprograms more info. Please see our online Sports Orientation linked at our website and social media platforms and go to www.legacytigers.com for coaches contacts and updated information. Our Summer Orientation for New Freshmen will be on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 8 am to 1 pm and the first day of school is Tuesday, August 18, 2020. If necessary, we will hold the Freshman Orientation event online.
Please note enrollment packets for 2020-21 will available in the Legacy VAPA office the week of August 3, between 8 am and 2 pm, and should be returned the following week.
We plan to make Year 9 of VAPA the best ever!
