Raising children in today’s world isn’t easy. Between busy schedules, screen time, social media, and all the pressures kids face, it can be hard to know how to keep our families connected and grounded in faith.

In this episode of Welcome Home by Gina, I’m joined by Dr. Mel Tavares, an award-winning author, speaker, and experienced family counselor, to talk about her book, Make Families Great Again, and why strengthening our families starts right at home.

We talk about the importance of making time for meaningful conversations, putting our devices down, being intentional with family time, and teaching our children biblical values in everyday life. Dr. Mel also shares practical wisdom on managing extracurricular activities, navigating the online world, staying involved in our children’s education, and making choices that reflect what matters most to our families.
