Axis All Areas – Introducing the Podcast

In this very first episode of Axis All Areas, we sit down with our Headteacher, Mr Blundred, to launch a brand‑new and exciting project at The Axis Academy.

We talk about the purpose behind starting a school podcast, what we hope it will bring to our pupils, and how it links to our ethos of creativity, confidence, and “doing things differently.” Mr Blundred shares insights into the school, The YES Trust, and the importance of giving students a platform to express themselves.

We also look ahead to the kinds of episodes listeners can expect — from pupil‑led discussions and staff interviews to curriculum topics, fun debates, and celebrations of life at Axis.
