What a week - In a display profoundly at odds with democratic values, the Australian PM has called for the censorship of X. It appears that the government, unable to maintain control over their narrative, is now attempting to silence dissenting voices.
This strategy is right out of Mao's Little Red Book, Putins playbook and Kim Jong Un's every day.
Freedom of speech is an innate right that every individual is born with. It's not something to be mediated by the government's whims on what may or may not be said, seen, or heard.
Communism seem to be gaining a foothold in the Australian parliament, and we are steadily approaching a critical juncture. With the current uni-party in power, I'm concerned that we may be on a path to irreversible changes.
