Dawn breaks over the town of Haven’s Rest. The blue and white glow of the arcane gate in the town center now fills with orange and purple as the sun peaks over the horizon. We’ve all been to a small town before with an arcane gate, right? You know how it is. Visitors and merchants travel the arcane highway to visit this little town to do business or enjoy the “quiet life.” The Obsidian Senate would describe Haven’s Rest as a town of “some importance,” and they would be right. It has a harbour, which is nice. It has a good population of townsfolks and mages who like to study away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It even has a few taverns to keep things fun. This season of mini-shots, we’ll take a look at what this specific day looks like for some of its citizens.
