Welcome to the premier episode of “In the Field” where we look at the week from the mission field, as well as discuss the issues that affect missionaries in their local communities and abroad. I am your host, Christie Richardson, a fellow missionary who spent the last 5-6 years in Haiti and Kenya serving on short-term and long-term missions. 

Some missionaries serve in their local community while others pack up their lives to serve in remote villages and slums to do God's work, leaving family and friends behind. So, each week we will update you on what is happening around the world in the field of missions and answer those hard to ask questions about what it means to get the call to serve. Guest speakers will join us with their lively conversations about their experiences, and answer questions that you may have about mission work.
