 Every librarian I know wants to reach a larger, more inclusive audience and for people to understand that what they do is critical.

Hi. My name is Marian Royal and until March of 2020, I was a career librarian – for well over 30 years! I worked in all types of libraries, often as the Director. And always with a teaching or training function. The pandemic cost me my job.  And to be honest, by that time, I was feeling a little library burnout so I retired. But I really wanted to use my rich experience to keep helping librarians.

That’s why I decided to become a Librarian Success Coach and to launch Masterful Librarian Podcast.

Here, I’ll talk about challenges you all face and offer ideas and guidance on how you can achieve greater relevance, meaning, and impact in a rapidly changing world 

Episodes will cover topics important to all librarians, like:

•      Engaging users in a virtual world
•      Developing stronger professional relationships and
