Welcome to The County Line podcast. My name is Lee Carleton Smith, better known as your host Lee Carl. 

 The County Line podcast resembles the loosey goosy nature of a prohibition era watering hole located on a rural county line in the Deep South. The title is also a way to pay homage to the Neshoba-Newton county line in central Mississippi where I spent half of my childhood. 

 My goal is to create a space where anything and everything can be discussed openly and freely by everyone. The podcast is, without a doubt, Mississippi centric frequently discussing anything from southern gangsta rap to the impacts of fundamental religion on society and delve into character analysis of The Andy Griffith Show. 

 The County Line is a place you can go to get an unconventional, yet honest opinions on a wide range of topics.
