Welcome to your new experience -- The Dad Tapes. The first tape in your Dad's collection of Tapes is the introductory episode. With an explanation of who the hosts are (Josh Patterson & Rich Allamong), what they are about, what their mission is and a breakdown of how future tapes will be be recorded for your listening pleasure.
Josh, a single father raising his 5-year-old, and Rich, a stay-at-home father, go over the show's segments. A light catch-up over some beverages will open the show on a weekly basis, with both hosts drinking the same beverage picked by one or the other host for that week. Then the first segment of each show will have a reading from the book, 'Be Prepared: A Practical Handbook for New Dads' written by Gary Greenberg and Jeannie Hayden.
The second segment begins the meat of the show -- the topic of the week with a discussion of/questioning/debate between the hosts. The segment ends with a closing of the topic.
The third segment ends the show with a bit of funny splashes, with the segment being titled "Dad, stay off the internet". This segment consists of readings of dumb dad stuff from Redit threads, FMyLife.com, Twitter, and other platforms the Dads are able to find material from.
