We begin at the beginning with “Welcome to the Hellmouth,” the Buffy the Vampire Slayer pilot episode. We meet the titular character, Buffy, and a slew of others who become the main characters for the coming seasons. Having just been kicked out of school in Los Angeles, Buffy is determined to have a fresh start in Sunnydale and leave her calling as the Slayer behind her. Buffy quickly learns that Sunnydale will not be as fresh a start as it seems, as her new friends are quickly put in danger, and she learns of an ancient vampire who may soon rise and bring about the apocalypse.

In addition to discussing this iconic pilot, Allie and Nick introduce themselves, share how their decades-long friendship started, and bask in their mutual love for 90s fashion.
