The story of the Good Samaritan is one of the most widely used parables Jesus shared. Most of the time we make the story of the Good Samaritan all about us, “we need to be a better, nicer, and more thoughtful person.” But maybe this story isn’t about how we need to love others better. Maybe it is about how Jesus loves and treats us.
