Hello and welcome to The Irrelevant Actor the podcast where we discuss all the pressures and strains of breaking into an ever growing, ever changing, ever demanding industry and how we may maybe one day become relevant.

Each week I’ll have a guest host, sadly I won’t have Olivia Colman or David Tennant – they weren’t available, apparently he’s busy doing some other podcast.

I hope to offer you advice, honesty and inspiration. Whether you’re just starting out or well and truly established or even if you’re not an actor – we’re going to talk about the real stuff, the people stuff, the true stuff and the taboo stuff.

I want to go beyond the red carpet glitz and glamour, the West End standing ovations and really delve deep into the reality of starting out and what it means to be an irrelevant actor!
