When Jesus asked his disciples to go with him to the other side while standing on the western shores of the Sea of Galilee, he knew the weight of what he was asking was far greater than just a boat ride across the water. What did "the other side” mean to the disciples in this moment? Little did they realize the impact this journey would have attached to it not only to themselves but to others. Often times when we follow Jesus he will ask us to take a similar step as he did to the disciples that day at the Sea of Galilee; to the other side.
