Rebekah, Danica, and Kareem dive deep into the topic of cultural norms and taboos. Before the conversation fully starts, they lightly touched on the topics of current Social Media Trends and Childhood Memories. From shoes they hated, to animals intruding their West Indian homes, to even confessing that they would fake catching the Holy Spirit in church just for the thrill of it. The conversation then leads full force into the topics of cultural taboos and generational traditions or sayings that they no longer want to associate with. They discuss the importance of them, are they relevant? Were they ever useful? Are they worth passing on to the next generation? This episode shows us that people from different parts of the world can be raised with similar views and but may have a different perspective on it. This is a freedom of expression podcast where we take pride in speaking freely, respectively, objectively and having open conversations.
