Dave Bjork is a lung cancer survivor and patient advocate known for his passionate views on the need to support biomedical research. During 20 years of nonprofit advocacy and research fundraising, he became known as the Cancer Research Evangelist for his life mission to connect individuals, biopharma companies, patient groups, academic institutions and other key influencers to forge strong partnerships to focus on research.

Now Dave is bringing his voice to public broadcasting with the Research Evangelist, a podcast to serve up stories about the good people in life sciences who are doing amazing work in research. He calls them “brilliant but not famous” - but all of them well known and respected in their field.
