We all know the data is out that there is no health if there is no mental health and wellbeing. Exercise, purpose, community, etc are all about sustaining powerful long term behavioral changes…and there is nothing more powerful than holding others accountable and being in it together, regardless of your age or ability.
The Uncles Movement is about keeping that momentum alive. Whether thats in sports, health/wellness, and family. We flip the script and look at age as only a number. The UM is a mindset to continue growth toward the best version of yourself. So although there can be a perception that you are supposed to slow down, we realize that we’ve only gotten wiser, smarter, and stronger. Through this mindset we are able to harness a more strategic, richer , and fuller life with even greater attributes. The amazing thing is that everyone can do this, we just have to acknowledge our strengths through self awareness and truly believe in ourselves.

The reason he started this movement was to encourage his group of friends (including himself) to never throw in the towel no matter what our age. We’ve all been through the ringer with injuries, illnesses, responsibilities, and day to day challenges. Live life to fullest, love hard, forgive yourself and others, and laugh as much as humanly possible. This way of life is not easy to live by, but we’ll try our hardest to do so.
