A study on the Parable of the Ten Virgins with specific emphasis on the bridegroom's response to the foolish virgins-Matt. 25:11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
God is all-knowing. How then could He possibly disavow knowing certain believers on that soon-coming Day?
The OT provides examples of individuals of whom God denied knowledge of.
In light of this reality, Christ admonishes us to be vigilant, awake-Matt. 25:13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
