This week Daniel is leaning into Psalm 16, a precious, quiet prayer of trust from David. It’s called a miktam — a word tied to something hidden or treasured — and it gives us a glimpse into David’s heart in a moment of pressure and uncertainty.

Even though we don’t know the exact setting, we can feel the wilderness around him. And in that space, David chooses to anchor himself in God’s protection, provision, and presence.

Our hope today is that this Psalm becomes our prayer too — helping us trust God in the quiet, unseen wilderness moments of our own lives.
