A new guest in the latest episode presents five experimental pieces filled with the atmosphere of avant-garde ambient electronics and enriched with warm breakbeat rhythms.

Fabio La Vecchia, known by his musical avatar Sounding, is an Italian ambient and experimental electronic musician whose passion for creating music was ignited by the haunting soundscapes of David Lynch's films, particularly those scored by Angelo Badalamenti. His musical journey began with playing keyboards in rock bands, drawing inspiration from instrumental groups like Mogwai, Air, and Pink Floyd. The artist holds a particular admiration for Mark Nelson of Pan American, appreciating the diverse influences and unique sounds in Nelson's work.

Felix Butzek, better known as DJ Darko, hails from Germany and has been active as a DJ and producer since his early teens. On his SoundCloud profile, he describes himself as a “20 years old DJ and Producer from Germany” specialising in Tech House, UK Garage, Lo-Fi House, Beats and Techno.

He discovered his passion for music at a very young age, reportedly listening to many different styles from the age of two, and began DJing around the age of 12.

DJ Darko’s sound is broad and eclectic: he moves between Lo-Fi House, UK Garage, Tech House, Beats, Deep House and Techno.

His DJ sets and productions tend to emphasise driving basslines, hypnotic rhythm sections, and cinematic or atmospheric build-ups (especially noted on his mix released via Electric Bird Traxx).

He shows an interest in remixing and editing tracks, as well as collaborating with other artists (for example collaborating with “DreamKiller”). His versatility allows him to both DJ live and produce tracks for club or headphone listening.

Social Machine is the solo project of the 22yo DJ and producer Frederico Palmeirim. The brazilian DJ explore genres such as Techno, House, UK Garage, Breakbeat, and Electro. Machine has performed at Rádio na Manteiga, Veneno Live, Technolab, Function, 55RadioShow, and Mode London. He has also collaborated with national and international artists and released songs on labels around the world. Fred received support from numerous DJs with his tracks, some of the most notable being Skin On Skin on Rinse FM, Osmosis Jones, Bryson Hill, LZR, Capetini, Guza, and others.
