WELCOME back to another Wanderers-packed edition of The Buff, bringing you the very best of the week’s news and gossip from the University of Bolton Stadium from the pages of The Bolton News.
It is a big week for Ian Evatt’s side, who host third-placed Ipswich Town on Saturday looking to bounce back from two frustrating results against Portsmouth and Morecambe and keep their play-off position in their own hands.
Results elsewhere in the last few days have not been especially kind for Bolton, so Marc and Henry take a look at the table and assess who exactly is still in the chase for the top six.
We’re talking Wembley tickets as the second wave goes on sale to club members. Can Wanderers sell out, why do we care so much about numbers, and will Henry manage to become the first podcast co-host to book a Wembley ticket live on air?
We hear from manager Evatt about why he isn’t driving himself nuts by looking at the table and we also hear from Eoin Toal after he gained his first call-up to the Northern Ireland squad.
Jay Jay Okocha became the first – we assume – current or former Wanderer to have a cartoon made about him. We wonder which other players could benefit from the TV treatment.
This season we’ll be running a special Fantasy Football League for listeners of The Buff – and will be dishing out monthly prizes, plus recruiting some special guests to play against from the world of Wanderers.

Remember, it isn't just a podcast, it's The Buff Podcast. And we're here every Friday.
If you want to get in contact with the show, please email [email protected] or tweet Marc on @MarcIles and @Henry__Hewitt
And please, please leave a review. We work hard to put these episodes out every single week, in-season and out, and the more feedback we get, the better the product. Having said all that, we are currently only accepting five-star ratings, as all the other ratings are broken.
