Frissia Monsivais was initially denied the opportunity to continue her education when she was young due to finances and cultural norms.  Fortunately, she was a recipient of a scholarship which allowed her to continue her studies.  This changed her life and presented her with numerous opportunities.  Acknowledging the power of education to transform lives she created a foundation- Wemen Foundation of Mexico to provide educational opportunities to vulnerable women.
