Wendy was the typical house wife when she got married; she took care of her kids, her husband, her family, and everyone else…except herself. She turned to wine to numb the pain and developed a problem over the years, which resulted in her husband begging her to seek help. She is now a recovering alcoholic with 23 years of sobriety under her belt and is a Licensed Social Work and addiction specialist, where she regularly attends AA meetings to support other women. She is also an inspirational writer and a speaker.
