When not working as a CNA you can find State of Georgia Native by birth & Seattle native, at heart (& 8 year Seattle resident), Jacqui Pollock serving as the Marketing, & Special Events Director of WTND-LP Macomb 106.3 FM, Chair of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd's Outreach Committee, doing puppetry (at home they call themselves the Somerset House Puppet Players), learning something new, watching one of many teams she is a fan of, or even spending time with her better half & their three cats (Charcoal Marie, Swiss Miss, & Tiger John); so who is Jacqui Pollock?

She’s a BIG fan of the Florida State Seminoles, the Washington State Cougars, the University of Washington Huskies, University of Wisconsin Badgers, (in Basketball) the Tennessee Lady Volunteers, along with the Texas Rangers Baseball Club, Los Angeles Dodgers, (the now former) Seattle Supersonics (“Bring Back Our Sonics!”), and the Green Bay Packers.
Jacqui’s Bookshelf is “mainly The Kennedys yet mostly Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis with some Football, self-help, and other books of interest.” Other books include football books regarding players and coaches including former Florida State Seminoles Coach Bobby Bowden and the late former Alabama Head Football Coach Paul W. “Bear” Bryant (who the Bear Cub Puppet Paul Bear, whose full name is Paul Bryant Bear, is named for), books by musicians (Chely Wright’s Like Me).
As far as music, radio shows, movies, or television shows Jacqueline has a diverse interest. When there’s not a game on you can find Jacqueline watching The Young & the Restless, NCIS, Madam Secretary, Home Improvement reruns (“I so identify with the character of Jill Taylor” the wife of Home Improvement’s main character of Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor, “because I practically LIVE with Tim ‘The Tool Man’ Taylor, yet my better half isn’t clueless”), numerous YouTube Videos (including the channels: Nomadic Fanatic, The History Guy, World War 2, Imagination Theater, Townsends, Christopher Chaos, as well as, the channel from her good friend, David Quesal, head of the Quesal Puppet Troupe), or simply listening to a Country or Variety Music Station. On Saturdays, however, this former Seattle resident enjoys KOMO 1000 AM/97.3 FM (Seattle)’s “Northwest Lifestyle Weekend” listening to Inside Out with Tami Micheals (Central Time Noon-2 PM) about interior design & home repair and Talking Real Money with Tom and Don (Central Time 2 PM-4 PM) about strategies for investing and saving for retirement.
