As we step into a new year, it’s easy to look ahead and think about what needs to change. But before we do that, it might be worth noticing something simple—we made it. Through rising costs, uncertainty, and challenges that didn’t let up as quickly as we hoped… we’re still here.

Jesus never said life would be easy. In fact, He said the opposite. But He also offered something deeper than comfort—peace in the middle of it. So maybe the question this year isn’t just what we’re trying to fix… but where we’re choosing to stand.

Scripture (NIV):

John 16:33 – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

What would it look like to live this year with your feet here—but your heart anchored in something eternal?
