We're Watching Here

'We're Watching Here' talks 'Marty Supreme,' 'Knives Out,' and more

Listen Later

This year has been off to a wild start. My day job often starts the year with a project that takes a lot of time, so I haven’t had much of a moment to dedicate to this newsletter. Hopefully in the coming days, I’ll have more for you; yes, I need to finally get around to that Wake Up Dead Man piece. Hopefully this week or next.

But in the meantime, Perry and I were able to get some time together to talk movies. We kicked off 2026 by sharing our thoughts on a few end-of-the-year movies and TV shows, including Mr. Scorsese, Death By Lightning, Song Sung Blue, Raging Bull and Is This Thing On? Then, we settled in for some more extensive conversations about Marty Supreme and (to keep the movie in conversation) Wake Up Dead Man. It was a great way to kick off the year, but I’m most excited about moving into February, when we’ll pick our David Lynch conversation right back up.

Remember, you can also subscribe to the We’re Watching Here on iTunes and Spotify.

Also, we’re only just over halfway through the month, but I’ve been keeping busy at Collider. Here’s a link to some of my most recent articles:
