Wes had a dream to be in the marines at a very young age but after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 9 years old his career took a different path. He now works in a high level of law enforcement and he shows other people living with type 1 diabetes that with strict control and discipline they can achieve high levels of success, too.
