Esther's story begins long before she realizes what God is going to do through her. She didn't choose to be an orphan. She didn't choose to live in Susa. She didn't choose to become queen. She certainly didn't choose to be put in a position where her people needed her to risk her life.

We can learn several things through her story:

1. God can be working even when we don't see Him.

2. Your story has a purpose – even when you don't understand it

3. We don't have to know the whole story to trust the Author.

In week one of My Story. God's Story, we look at Abraham and the moment God called him to leave what was familiar and step into a story much bigger than himself. Abraham reminds us that following God doesn't always mean knowing where the story is going—it means trusting the One who is leading it.
