Trusting God At All Times Daily Devotional. I know Christmas is past but there is one lingering issue that I want to address. It comes from a line in one of Charles Wesley’s “Hymns for the Nativity”. You have heard about this collection of 18 hymns first published in 1745 from my devotions. Linda and I quoted from them in our Advent/Christmas devotions.

“All Wise, All Mighty Lord” which is one of his nativity hymns.

includes the following words in stanza three;

O Holy Child still let thy birth bring peace to us poor worms on earth.

Can you imagine singing these words as a Christmas Hymn or Christmas Carol.
