The Toffees moved into 5th place following their 3rd consecutive win Thursday evening, a 1-0 nail-biter vs West Bromwich Albion. Much like the Southampton match earlier in the week, Everton managed to create very little threat for most of the game, but a bit of micro-management by Don Carlo to put Gylfi on a corner kick paid dividends. On his second try he found the head of Richarlison who has now scored in 4 consecutive matches, the first Brazillian to do so in the Premier League.
