The Western Golf Association invited 1988 Western Amateur Champion Chris DiMarco to help kick off preparations for the tournament's return to the Point O' Woods Golf and Country Club July 30 - Aug. 3.

WGA Sr. Vice President Vince Pellegrino kicked off the media day program, along with WGA Chairman Frank Morely and Point O' Woods President and Tournament Director Bruce Pfaff.

After the brief introduction, Chicago Tribune columnist Teddy Greenstein sat down with DiMarco to chat about his 1988 Championship and his pro career.
