Did you see it coming? A photo taken yesterday on the first day of school shows Westlake High School kids packed tightly in the commons area, and none are social distancing. The bright side: you can't pick out a single student not wearing a mask. District and school guidelines both call for floor markings or signs to direct students against congregating tightly. Westlake's own guidelines say administrators should step in to minimize the congregation. Should school staff do more to keep kids socially distanced?
*KSL made several attempts to reach both Alpine School District and Westlake's administration with no response.
