A Westmeath mother of three says she's stunned by the response to her Shave My Hair, Show We Care fundraiser. Ally Byrne is attempting to raise €50,000 after her husband was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in April. It's a form of cancer that attacks white blood cells and can severely damage bones or organs such as the kidneys. The Mullingar woman spoke to Will Faulkner on Midlands Today about how they're hopeful of a positive outcome, but she's experienced a range of emotions.
