Welcome back for episode 9 of the Wet Net Podcast!
For those of you watching on youtube, I want to apologize. Im sure you'll be quick to notice my rookie mistake. I thought it would be a good idea to soak up some of the nice weather we're having, and record the podcast in the boat. We got all set up and ready to record, and I didn't even think about the rod holder blocking Chase's face. I feel like a big ole' dummy. I seriously debated not even posting the video this week, because it was that embarrassing of a mistake. I chose to take it as a learning opportunity and post the video anyways. I want to do everything we can to be raw and organic with this podcast, which also means i'm going to make mistakes. That's a big mistake i definitely wont make again. I apologize to our viewers, but most of all to Chase, for blocking his gorgeous face for our viewers to see. I hope you'll all tune in, and give Chase some listens, because he absolutely deserves it.
That being said, We still had a great time bringing some content for you guys this week. We take some time to chat about Chase's background, and some of his upbringing with fishing local tributaries. We talk about some of his time guiding over in Alaska, and some cool stories that go along with that. For the rest of the episode we cover some of the fisheries that Chase participates in, and he shows off some super cool, high quality rods from Talon rods, that he uses to earn his living.
Chase is a super cool, respectable guy with a lot of good info. It was a blast to have him on the show, and we hope to have him again in the future (and hopefully actually get his face in the camera view, lol).
Don't forget about our active giveaways we have going on from our sponsor, Coldwater Strong. Tune in to Episode 8 with Ken Vilante to figure out how to get yourself entered to win some awesome gear.
I hope you guys enjoy this weeks episode, Tight Lines!
