Most women think stress is only the emotional kind, feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin or dealing with something big. But in menopause, stress shows up in ways that don’t feel like stress at all. Poor sleep, cravings, irritability, afternoon crashes, night wakings, joint pain, bloating, weight changes… these patterns get labeled as “just menopause,” when they’re often your stress load showing up in the body.
In this episode, I talk about why stress affects you differently in midlife, why so many symptoms get tangled together and why lowering the load matters more now than it ever has.
