A tornado touched down in Bloomington on Friday night. One person died and at least 5 people were injured. The Clear Creek post office was destroyed, approximately 75 homes were damaged and major power outages were reported. WFHB News interviewed community members in the streets of downtown Bloomington about their reactions to the tornado. We turn to WFHB News Correspondents Max Schneider, Ella Cummings and Kade Young for more.
That was a segment where WFHB news reporters asked community members in downtown Bloomington about their reaction to the tornado that swept through Monroe County on Friday. The storm caused one death, several injuries, property damage and significant power outages. In today’s feature report, WFHB Correspondent Harley Babbitt spoke with Justin Baker, the deputy director at Monroe County Emergency Management, about their department’s response to damages resulting from the storm.
