The Monroe County Board of Health is slated to meet on Thursday, June 26th. The health board has been steeped in controversy following the closure of Futures Family Planning Clinic. During last month’s board meeting, the board of health suspended public comment, with board members saying they will develop a new public comment policy in their June meeting. In today’s broadcast, WFHB News features voices from former Futures staff and current board member Dr. Stephen Pritchard about the decision to suspend public comments while the board works to amend the public comment policy.
