Whale Hunters Episode 1!
We've created a new series based on House of Beer, called Whale Hunters. As fans of craft beer, we seek out the hard-to-find brews along with the everyday shelf beers.
In this first episode, Kevin Groover of Out Here Having a Pint dropped by to discuss Books & Brews Franken Gloop, the first barrel aged beer from their Dr. Frankenstein’s Monster Reserve series. Only 120 bottles were available to those who put their name on the list, making it a hard-to-find beer.
Dustin and Matt review the beers they sampled at Indiana on Tap's August Tasting Society Event (beers from Tin Man Kokomo, Fountain Square Brewing, Pax Verum, and Monon Beverage Brokers). For news, the trio talks about BrewDogs beer hotel, a place Kevin got to stay in before the general public, and talk pros and cons, mostly pros, of breweries creating variety pack based on Oskar Blues recent news.
